Mare Owner Contract

Now booking 2010 breedings to our excellent quality "A" Line Haflinger stallion for late Jan - early July. Stud fee $500, guaranteed live ultrasound. All foals live cover. Mare owner responsible for:

1. Proof of negative uterine culture from DVM.

2. Current Health Papers.

3. Negative Coggins.

4. Transportation to & from farm. 

5. Vet bills incurred while in our care due to injury, pregnancy check, or other reason.

6. Mare must be halter broke, easy to catch & handle, get along well with others, respectful of fencing, load, unload, & trailer well.

7. Stud fee of $500 payable at time of departure. (No booking fee required. Stud fee waived if mare not in foal by July 2010). Departure should be within 10 days of positive ultrasound unless other arrangements are made or weather prohibits travel.

Stallion owner responsible for providing:

1. Adequate pasture.

2. Good quality hay & grain.

4. Loose mineral.

5. Clean drinking water.

6. Foal registration guaranteed to AHR mare owner unless prohibited by association for reasons beyond our control. 

I am willing to work with transport haulers for receipt & departure of your mare. Stallion is AHR registered & 2010 AHR licensed. Stallion owner is a member in good standing with AHR. Not responsible for injury or accident to mare or existing foal accompanying mare at time of breeding. In the event of stallion death, this contract null & void.
